The five-day event, which includes a Continental Policy Briefing, Plug & Play Day, conference, exhibition and field trip, takes place at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) in Nairobi from 14-18 July 2014.
The conference and various side events address the need for a paradigm shift in agricultural finance. Fin4Ag will help create the critical mass of thinking that enables such a shift. Over 600 leading decision makers, opinion leaders and key influencers from Africa, the Caribbean and Pacific, will examine the issues under three themes – innovative tools, legal and regulatory frameworks, and cross-cutting issues such as ICTs and women.
Lamon Rutten, Programme Manager for Policies, Markets and ICTs at CTA said at the sponsorship announcement: "We are excited to have Afreximbank as gold sponsor of Fin4Ag. They are an ideal partner for this event with their commitment to stimulate a consistent expansion, diversification and development of African trade."
