Apollin Fotso Kuate

Visiting Scientist at IITA-Cameroon

Apollin Fotso Kuate is a Visiting Scientist at IITA-Cameroon.He holds an MSc in Applied Zoology from the University of Yaoundé I and a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Basel through the Research Fellow Partnership Program (RFPP). He is experienced in insect ecology with emphasis on ants and their interactions plants and other insects in the ecosystem.

He works extensively with national programs and partners on cassava and plantain development and integrated pest management. He is currently the focal point of the Agricultural Investment and Market Development Project (AIMDP) jointly funded by the World Bank and the Cameroon Government
