Oluyemisi Iranloye

Md/CEO at Psaltry international ltd

Oluyemisi Iranloye joined the employment of EKHA AGRO Farms Limited in 2002 as Senior Project Manager.

She obtained a B. TECH in Biochemistry from Federal University of Technology, Minna in 1997 and MSc in Biochemistry from The University of Ibadan 2000. Due to her wonderful performance as arrow head in the company's dream project, she was made the pioneering Executive Director of Ekha agro processing Ltd in 2004. Ekha agro processing ltd was the first company to use cassava to produce glucose syrup in West Africa and the second in Africa.

She has attended several management training courses in Nigeria and abroad amongst which is the Nigerian SME Equity Investment for International Trade and Development in 2005 at El Camino College, Torrence, California USA. She was a member of the Presidential Committee on Cassava Development and Utilization in Nigeria between 2005 and 2007, and member of the 2006 UNIDO/Ministry of Commerce Committee that wrote the blue print for Cassava development in Nigeria. She has been a speaker at several international and local conferences amongst which are the Nigerian Economic summit and Africa CEO round table & conference on Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility amongst others.

Yemisi's love for agriculture made her to incorporate Psaltry International Limited in year 2005 to carry on the business of consultancy and commercial farming and after her voluntary early retirement from Ekha agro processing in July 2011, She became the Managing Director of Psaltry International Ltd a cassava based food grade starch/flour factory at Ado Awaye in Oyo state. A company with about 2000 out growers farming on over 3000ha of farm land in Oyo state having a backup company cassava farm of 500ha.

In 2007 she won the award for the best orally presented presentation at the Global cassava partnership conference held at Gent, Belgium organized by FAO, Gate foundation, IITA etc. In July 2010 she was recognized as a leading Female entrepreneur in Nigeria by the United State Department of State and therefore attended the African Women Entrepreneurial Program AWEP in Washington DC, USA. Yemisi was the first President of AWEP Nigeria Chapter and a member of the prestigious alumni.state.org.
