Dr. Sarah L. Mubiru from Uganda topped the final field of nine to win the first prize in the Women in Science Competition in the CTA/FARA/RUFORUM/ANAFE/AGRA/NEPAD Africa-Wide Women & Young Professional in Science Competitions. Dr Mubiru won the prize for her forward-thinking research on the “Development of ENDISA Decision Support Tool for Improved Feeding of Dairy Cattle in Uganda”. Ms Sanguine Nguiakam from Cameroon emerged as the first prize winner from 18 finalists (12 women and six men) in the Young Professionals Science Competition for her joint research project on “Prices of Raw Materials, Budgetary Earnings and Economic Growth: A Case Study of Côte D’Ivoire”.
