Digitalisation of African Agriculture Initiative

On Tuesday, the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) will be handing over its Digitalisation of African Agriculture (D4Ag) initiative to Wageningen University and Research (WUR) during a virtual event.

The D4Ag initiative started in June 2019 with the partnership of CTA and Dalberg Advisors to launch the Digitalisation of African Agriculture Report – 2018/2019. This report was touted as the first of its kind.

This baseline report for Africa (global) highlights the state of digital solutions in enabling the transformation of African agriculture. However, with the closure of CTA at the end of December 2020, the team has found a new home for its Digital Agriculture initiative.

During the webinar, the new home for the CTA’s D4Ag Initiative will be officially unveiled and WUR will showcase some of its Digital Agriculture works.

Date: Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Time: 3:00 PM

You can register for the virtual event here.
