'Accelerating the uptake of climate-smart agriculture' kickoff

Event Overview

CTA and implementing partners have begun to implement a project 'Accelerating the uptake of climate-smart agriculture', in Ethiopia, aimed at improving resilience, agricultural productivity, food security and the income of 20,000 smallholder farmers in Ethiopia through the promotion of widespread adoption of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices. The project identifies proven CSA approaches and uses innovative ICT tools to increase farmer adoption of the approaches. The kickoff event is used to engage high-level government and policy makers in Ethiopia regarding the project, discuss project implementation and deliverables with all the implementing partners and, follow up on the potential of nationally determined contributions to facilitate the promotion of CSA in the country.
