Event Overview
Moderated by the Associate Vice-President for Corporate Services Division, the session begins with a discussion on building an enabling policy environment to support technological innovation in agriculture. This is followed by leading innovators and practitioners in the field sharing lessons learned from their experience of building and implementing new technologies. The technologies, blockchain and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), have been selected on the basis of the strong level of interest from the investment community to accelerate their implementation and impact.
Two speakers on the panel focusing on UAV are CTA partners from CharisUAS (Rwanda) and SOWIT (France/Morocco).
