Catalysing actionable knowledge to make next-generation ACP agriculture work for women

Catalysing actionable knowledge to make next-generation ACP agriculture work for women

Event Overview

As a continuation of the “experience capitalisation” activity, the third series of experience capitalisation workshop focuses on how selected information and communication technologies (ICT), digital and business linkage interventions can directly benefit women in agri-food value chains, give them voice and connections, and make their activities more profitable, productive and resilient. Partners and experts contribute on key insights and synthesise lessons on what really works for next-generation ACP agriculture and rural development practice and policies.

This meeting is planned as a participatory exercise where different people contribute to, sharing and capturing significant lessons and documenting what works. Participants:

  • Identify, assess, document and communicate business cases that work for women in ACP agriculture.
  • Stocktake and assess key elements of CTA’s work in gender and agriculture, bringing together key individuals and partners to co-create and document experiences for wider application
  • Generate insights, evidence and lessons from across CTA’s portfolio, communicating the products to priority target audiences

Leverage the innovation and knowledge generated to engage and inform policies and practices, enhancing the delivery of next generation agriculture in ACP countries and enhancing CTA’s own ‘offer’.
