This congress will be marking the beginning of a New Transformative approach towards the sustainability of EAFF and that of its member organizations. EAFF has embraced ICT4Ag and is rolling out its largest project yet with the intention of contributing to “An African Agriculture driven by data” in line with its New strategic plan 2013-2020.
The Fourth EAFF congress is set to commence on14th and 15th September 2017 at Munyonyo Speke resort, Kampala Uganda. EAFF has a strategic plan 2013-2020; whose orientation is Entrepreneurship.
The mission of EAFF is to represent, lobby and advocate for Eastern Africa farmers interests and build their capacities. The Federation, apart from voicing views and demands of the farmers on cross-cutting issues, also promotes regional integration of the farmers through trade.
EAFF organizes a Farmers Congress every 4 years and it brings together more than 200 delegates from all over the world and exhibitors.
