The agritourism workshop in Saint Lucia seeks to promote linkages between the agrifood sector and the tourism industry to increase sustainable local sourcing through a developed agritourism policy. The workshop aims at designing inter-sectoral and inclusive policies which promote public-private partnerships for improved local food use and consumption in Saint Lucia while identifying concrete projects that can be supported under the intra ACP-EU funding.

The expected result is a better common understanding of the opportunities in agritourism in Saint Lucia:
- Setting up of a platform promoting linkages between agriculture and tourism;
- Identification of priority areas for development and support under the intra-ACP funding;
- The main elements of the strategy/policy on agritourism are developed and validated by the multi-sectoral focus group.
