Training in the use of UAS:​ Mission planning, piloting and imagery acquisition

Event Overview

Training representatives from 16 African enterprises based in Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Senegal, in the use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for service delivery. The participants will be trained in mission planning, drone piloting and high resolution imagery acquisition.

This event is meant to complement skills and knowledge acquired by the same participants who attended the “UAS Capacity Building, Enterprise Management and Business Development Workshop” which took place on 11-18 July 2018 in Lusaka, Zambia in the framework of the project Transforming African Agriculture: Eyes In The Sky, Smart Techs on the Ground.
