Biography
Since July 2016, Jorge Chavez-Tafur works as knowledge management officer at CTA, coordinating the Experience Capitalisation project implemented in different parts of the world in collaboration with FAO, IICA and IFAD. He is also a guest lecturer at Universidad Agraria La Molina, where he focuses on "sistematización" as an approach for drawing lessons from rural development initiatives. He worked for many years as consultant with ETC Andes, worked as editor of the "LEISA magazine" and was also editor-in-chief of "Farming Matters"; today he is also member of the editorial team of the KM4D journal.

Experience capitalisation institutionalisation workshop
The main objective of CTA's experience capitalisation project has been to encourage the adoption of the approach - its regular use by projects and organisations.
