Biography
I am currently a freelance communications and knowledge sharing consultant specializing in agriculture, research and development. From August 2009 to March 2017, I was Head of Communications and Knowledge Management at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Kenya (6 years in Ethiopia). Before that, I was Director of ‘Euforic’ an information-sharing cooperative working to open up and enhance access to information and knowledge on Europe’s international development. Alongside Euforic, I worked as a freelance agricultural information specialist with the CGIAR ICT-KM Program, DFID, several CGIAR centers, FAO, GFAR, and others. I began my career working with agricultural information - first at the World Bank, then at a Faculty of Agriculture in Thailand, then in the CGIAR at the International Service for National Agricultural Research (ISNAR); after ISNAR, I mainly worked in the international development sector, with ECDPM, IICD, and INASP.
