Africa has the youngest population and agriculture still remains the backbone of the African continent. In order to move the continent forward economically, there is a need for conscious effort to transform agriculture through the engagement of its youthful population.
Mukono is one of the biggest district in Uganda, composed of 1,119 villages with a population of 596,804 people. According to the District Planning Department, there is currently no formalised data on nutrition which the district planning unit can base on during Local Government Budget allocation process.
