Pitch AgriHack 2019

Aperçu de l'événement

The Pitch AgriHack 2019 start-up competition holds its final during the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF). It welcomes co-founders of e-agri start-ups owners of early stage and mature ICT platforms that are already operational. Seven prizes are awarded.

A two-day training session is carried on 2 and 3 September 2019. This training session aims at helping finalist start-ups to identify key limits of their financial management strategy and to identify actions they need to put in place to better manage their finances and improve their readiness to raise capital (grants, loans or equity investments) from potential investors and development organisations. The content of the training is on investment readiness, start-up valuation, raising capital, keeping sound financial accounts, one-to-one coaching on start-up accounts and pitching coaching.

A half-day exchange session with AgriHack start-ups is organised on 4 September 2019.

5 September is the "pitching day", a session where all the 22 finalists pitch their ICT solutions in front of business angels, venture capitals, entrepreneurs, development agencies, agriculture and ICT industry experts and professionals.

The Pitch AgriHack award ceremony takes place on 6 September 2019 during the closure ceremony of the AGRF.
