Chipo Msengezi


Chipo Msengezi is Project Coordinator for the GODAN Action project at CTA. She has worked in the ICT4D, capacity development and knowledge management sector for nine years. In this time Chipo has worked on various programmes in Sub-Sahara Africa to enhance capacity amongst the research and education communities in the latest information tools and advocate for the adoption of new technologies that drive development.



En 1973, la Tanzanie a annoncé son intention de transférer sa capitale nationale de Dar es-Salaam à Dodoma. Cette déclaration - ainsi que la mise en place d’institutions de premier plan - a favorisé l’expansion de la petite ville de Dodoma, dont la population est passée de 45 000 habitants en 1973 à 410 956 en 2012. Cette évolution se traduit par une augmentation de la demande de terres destinées à diverses fonctions urbaines et agricoles.

    The objective of this research is to understand the role of farmer organisations (FO) and cooperatives in the agriculture data ecosystem.
