Biographie
Lamon Rutten était, jusqu'à tout récemment, le responsable du programme Politiques, marchés et TIC du CTA. Lamon a 30 ans d'expérience en finance agricole, travaillant avec les Nations Unies, la Banque mondiale et le secteur privé. Il est désormais le PDG de la bourse des matières premières d’Indonésie.

À en croire une « analyse systématique » réalisée par le ministère britannique du Développement, « malgré le succès et la popularité apparents de la microfinance, il n'existe pas encore d'éléments probants démontrant les effets positifs des programmes de microfinancement ».
